DNA is a natural polymer present in the cell nucleus of all living beings. DNA has the power to restore necrosed cells, reconstructing connective tissue by stimulating the scarring processes. It can turn back the destruction of proteins (basically collagen), blood cells (leukocytes, and erythrocytes).  Because of its restoration effects on proteins, cells, and dermal connective tissues damaged by exposure to sunlight, oxidative stress, and nicotine, it forms a part of the therapeutic arsenal used in treating photo-induced aging and is also proposed, in a secondary role, for the mesotherapeutic treatment of cellulite.
